Objective: 

This module will help the student to understand the basic concepts of electricity and working of Semiconductor devices.

 

The students are required to do any six experiments taking three from Sec A & three from Sec B. They will be doing exercises covering the CSC113 syllabi as given below:

 

      Section A       

 

  1. Verification of ohm’s law.
  2. Verification of series combination of resistances
  3. Verification of parallel combination of resistances
  4. Verification of faraday’s law.
  5. Characteristics of P-N diode.
  6. Characteristics of Zener diode
  7. Determine Band gap in junction diode.
  8. To study Input output Characteristics of NPN transistor.
  9. To Study ripple factor for half wave rectifier without filter and with L-section filter.
  10. To Study ripple factor for full wave rectifier without filter and with π-section filter.
  11. To Study characteristics of FET.
  12. Verify truth tables of NOT, AND, OR gates.
