A 6-day training program led by Mr. Hemant Vyas provided a comprehensive overview of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He began by explaining how search engines operate using crawlers and algorithms to index and rank content. The workshop covered the core components of SEO, including keyword research, on-page SEO (such as title tags, meta descriptions, and content optimization), off-page SEO (like backlink strategies), and technical SEO. Special focus was given to local SEO, emphasizing the use of Google My Business and local citations. Participants also learned the importance of meta tags, link juice, and building an effective site structure for both users and search engines.

Additional sessions introduced tools like Google Search Console and keyword research platforms such as Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush. The workshop also discussed site navigation, mobile optimization, and the importance of submitting a sitemap. Participants were guided through setting up a WordPress.com account, highlighting SEO-friendly features of the platform. Key takeaways included understanding what Google looks for in content—relevance, originality, keyword use, user engagement, and E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness). The workshop concluded on a positive note, with the participant expressing appreciation for its practical, hands-on approach to SEO fundamentals.
