3D Animation- III (Practical)

The students will:CO186. Articulate   advance   3D animation fundamentals and       concepts        on character actions, body mechanics, acting and expressions.

CO187. Break      down      and illustrate animations of various walk cycles, Jump cycles and weight lifting.

CO188. Experiment                the principles of character and creature animation.

CO189. Develop  skills  for  3D animations combining cameras, shots and scenes.

CO190. Design       and       build sequences  for  short films,  advertisements and product animations.

Walk cycle introduction: Introduction to walk cycles of Biped character, variations and development of characteristics in walk cycle, Exercise based on Different kinds of walk cycle- In different psychological stages, Adding personality to the walk.

Study of body postures and gestures: Pose study and exercise on strong poses, difference between strong verses weak poses. Acting in animation: Exercise based on acting skills based animation, staging of scene, lay outing, and scene setup using dialogue.

Pose to Pose: Acting for clarity of emotion. Character Animation, The Animation Process, Pose-to- Pose blocking, Establishing Timings, Refining Animation. Creating Pose and body dynamics: Exercise on weight issues, and body mechanics, dynamics using animation principles in poses.

Introduction to facial animation: introduction to Facial expression animation, lip Syncing, phonemes, making facial expression based on dialogue.
