Objective: 

The students will be getting practical exposure to Computer Aided tools with an understanding to color schemes, texture and various mediums.

Exercises based on 2D and 3D drawings covering CAD syllabi.

  1. Exercises on draw toolbar (i.e. line, point, circle, ellipse, rectangle, arc, polygon, mlines, splines.)
  2. Exercises on modify toolbar (i.e. offset, mirror, copy, rotate, trim, extend, fillet & chamfer)
  3. Exercises on array, hatch & blocks.
  4. Exercises on layers
  5. Exercises on 3D commands (i.e. cone, cylinder, pyramids, torus, cube, mesh)

 

Exercises based on Publishing models and graphics:

  1. Creating Kerning and Tracking Tables and Hyphenation Exceptions.
  2. Layout Tools
  3. Creating New Print Documents, Creating New Web Documents
  4. Box Basics
  5. Line Basics
  6. Manipulating Items: Moving, Reshaping, and Resizing Items, Cutting, Copying, and Pasting Items, Clearing and Deleting Items
  7. Changing Page Size and Facing-Pages Status
  8. Text Basics, Typography, Graphics in Typography
  9. Pictures, Color, Trapping, Tables, Layers
  10. Creating New Libraries and Books
  11. Preparing Style Sheets for Lists
  12. Hyperlinks
  13. Interactive Web Elements
  14. Creating an HTML Form
  15. Printing a Web document
