Defining design. A brief introduction and history of design. Understanding the differences between principles and elements: unity/variety, hierarchy, proportion, and scale & shape, space/white-space, line, and size.

Introduction to Production Pipeline: Pre- Production, Production and Post- Production.

Introduction to Pre- Production: the theme or storyline, concept, summary, layouts- foreground, midground and background, storyboarding- visualization. Thinking out of the box designs and layouts.

Introduction to Production: Implementation of the whole concept. Deciding the colour scheme and making layouts.
