The contents that will be covered are as follows:

  • Introduction to content management tools like drupal, joomla, wordpress, Working and importance of content management tools.
  • Introduction to Drupal: Download and install, Drupal Content: Blocks, Modules, Panels and Views, Architect the website. Site building without programming.
  • Creating and Managing Drupal Site Content: create, edit and manage an ongoing flow of content, from draft form to archived pages, using search capabilities in website, build new blocks from scratch, integrate blocks, reassign, reconfigure and deactivate blocks according to the changing needs of your website.HTML & CSS in Drupal.
  • Growing and managing users & modules in Drupal Site: Create users and manage user roles and accounts. Create, test and configure Drupal modules. Set permissions on modules; limit the use of certain features.
  • Customizing Your Site with Themes: find, install, modify and apply a Drupal theme, theme certain elements of a site, such as the footer or individual nodes and blocks, use a branded theme with a site name and logo, employ theming tools to build and manage themes more efficiently
  • Drupal Site Administration: back up a Drupal site with a minimum of repetitive effort, understand how to review log files, manage user account requests and check for site content updates
  • Introduction to Wordpress, Downloading Wordpress, getting started with Wordpress,
  • Terminologies in Wordpress- Posts, Pages, Widgets, Plugins, Menus.
