This course will enable the students to learn advanced Communication design skills, continue to expose students to graphic design fundamentals, typography, digital paintings, and matte paintings and help students develop successful graphic projects from scratch.

History of communication design, finding, and solving communication problems: introduction to the concepts of logos, monograms & symbols. Terminology of typography.

Study layouts’, application of design principles in layout, freestyle layout, grid design, formats, margins, columns, working with imagery, borders, and rules.
Redesigning existing press and magazine ads to understand the elements of an ad and experiment with layout. The emphasis is to be placed on visual image development and execution, creativity, and the generation of ideas.
The emphasis will be laid on creativity, execution, and resourcefulness. Selection, plan, schedule, produce, and budget for services required to create successful advertising campaigns.
