Objective: 

This module will enable students to:

  • Impart in-depth practical knowledge of PHP
  • Design, develop, create and deploy websites.

Students will be able to:

  1. Write PHP scripts using operators, decision controls, loops, functions (including built-in) in PHP.
  2. Develop skills to handle form submissions in PHP.
  3. Create, insert, update a MySQL database
  4. Combine PHP code and MySQL to develop full-fledged websites.

 

 

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Reading assignments, Demonstrations, Group activities, Teaching using advanced IT audio-video tools, Project (website-based)

 

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, Seminar presentation, Giving tasks.

Practical exercises based on WDT-331B.

Student should be able to make website of 4-5 pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP.
