Interaction Styles: Command Line, Menu Selection, Form Fill-in, Direct Manipulation and Anthropomorphic. Graphical user interface, the concept of direct manipulation, Characteristics, Web user – Interface, characteristics, Principles of user interface.
Introduction to various UI tools: figma, behance and sketch.
User Interface Design Process
Obstacles and Pitfalls in the Development Path, Usability in design, steps in design process, step1-Known your client, Human interaction with computers, importance of human characteristics, human consideration.
Understanding business functions
Perform a business definition and requirements analysis, determine basic business functions, develop a conceptual model of the system, establish design standards or style guides and establish system usability design goals.
Screen Design and Goals
Human Consideration in Interface and Screen Designing, Interface Design goals, Screen planning and purpose, organizing screen elements, ordering of screen data and content, screen navigation and flow, visually pleasing composition, amount of information, focus and emphasis, presenting information simply and meaningfully, information retrieval on web, statistical graphics.
