Objective of the workshop/seminar/activity: to make faculty members work on Python 3.4.3 through a self paced FDP program.

Description

A five day Faculty Development Programme on Python 3.4.3 was successfully organized by the Department of CS & IT from 25 April to 29 April 2020. The FDP was organized in association with Spoken Tutorials and IIT Bombay. 31 participants took part in this FDP. Through Spoken Tutorial, which is an initiative of National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India, the participants were given access to a collection of videos related to Python 3.4.3. The participants watched these videos and completed the assignments. A Course Journal was also submitted by all towards the end of the workshop. The FDP was self paced and was organized free of charge. The participants found it to be very useful and fruitful.

Outcome of the activity/event/seminar/workshop: the faculty members developed the skill to work on Python 3.4.3 through the self paced program.
