The department of CS & IT organized an industrial visit to JIFF (BITS) on 21 January 2019 for  students of  II  IV&VI  semester of BMA alongwith the teachers  in-charge Mr. Jitendra Sharma and Mrs. Priyanka Dewatwal. Total 16 students attended the event.
Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) is the world’s fastest growing film festival held every year in January in Jaipur, India.The purpose of this film festival is to promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social & cultural ethos. 
It was a great opportunity for the students to witness film made by young film makers across the world. An interactive session was organized for the students to enhance their knowledge and clear the queries regarding the making of films.

  • HosseinNuri, Iranian painter and film maker from Iran
  • ArzuQaderi– Film maker from Afganistan
In this interactive session the students were given a brief description of the following:
 
  • Film maker’s Inspiration & journey of their films.
  • Struggles faced during the making of films.
  • Circumstances of film making in their country.
  • Screening of films.
  • Interaction between the film makers and audience.
 
At the conclusion of the session the query round was held in which the students got an opportunity to put forward questions to state their curiosity. The visit was very helpful in providing a practical and professional knowledge to the students about the working of film production.
