Guest Lecture: Art Direction for Animation Film Making

 

Department of Computer Science and IT organized a guest lecture on 14th Dec. 2021 for B.Sc. (H) Multimedia & Animation Students. Ms. Rita Dhankani, Founder & Creative Director of VIVI5, Bangalore, Karnataka gave the lecture on the topic of “Art Direction for Animation Film Making”. She spoke on art direction for animation film making as well as she define the importance of paper planning for making a 3D film. Students got to know about animation sequence drawings, brain-storming for scene direction, pre production techniques, Indian animation societies, and portfolio for future. At the end of the session, she resolved student’s queries and discus students about portfolio design. The main objective of the session was to get aware students of the animation industry’s job profiles and how to prepare for studio job. 15 students of multimedia and animation attended the session. The session was well-informed, interactive, and interesting for all students. Ms. Rita ma’am gave the assignment to students on “WOMENS ROLE IN INDIAN ANIMATION INDUTRY”. Students committed to submit the assignment within 15 days.
