Guest Lecture: Career Guidance in Animation

 

Department of Computer Science and IT organized a guest lecture for B.Sc. (H) Multimedia & Animation Students. Mr. Amandeep, freelance storyboard artist, and 2d animator gave the lecture on the topic of “Career Guidance in Animation”. He spoke not only on animation career options but also defined the 2D animation basics. Students got to know about animation fests, Indian animation societies, and internships as well as animation job profiles. At the end of the session, he shared his working experience and his professional journey from India to Germany. The main objective of the session was to get aware students of the animation industry’s job profiles within the country and abroad. 15 students of multimedia and animation attended the session. The session was well-informed, interactive, and interesting for all students.
