Objective: - To understand real word problems and frame an idea
Overall Report of the activity:
IISU IIC in collaboration with the School of Computer Science & IT has organized IISU Hackathon 2024 on 6th September 2024 in Aditya hall. The guest of event was Ms Chetana Kandoi, Director BELSO and IISU alumina 2019. The event began with the blessings of Professor PJ John, Dean Faculty of Science, IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur. 204 Students and 10 faculty members participated in the event.34 teams put up their ideas for different problem statements provided on SIH website. The evaluation criteria were: uniqueness of the idea, feasibility, clarity of communication, and responses during Q&A.
The judges for this event were: -
Team presentations were evaluated on different criteria like the novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity, and sustainability.20 teams were selected for the software development category. The event was a good learning experience for students and faculty members.
Outcome:
Students get introduced to real-life problems.
Students were able to understand the problems and develop an idea to solve the problem.
