Overall Report of the activity:
IIC in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and IT conducted a session to showcase student’s projects. The "Inspire and Innovate: Student Project Showcase" was a dynamic event where students demonstrated their innovative AI projects, highlighting the diverse applications of artificial intelligence in real-world scenarios. Projects included a "Wildlife Lens" for animal monitoring, an IoT-based skin infection detection system using gas sensors, an XAI-based malware detection tool, a chatbot focused on women's health and diet, and a skin cancer classification model. The session aimed to encourage creativity, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and foster problem-solving skills.
Students had the opportunity to present their work, gaining valuable experience in communication and presentation. The showcase highlighted the potential of AI technologies in various fields, boosting students' confidence and understanding of AI's practical applications. The event concluded with positive feedback, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and teamwork among young minds.
