Orientation Programme 2022-2023
Orientation Programme :BCA/Bsc(h) Data Anlaytics and Artificial Intelligence- Batch 2022-2023
The Department of CS & IT organized a splendid Orientation Programme to formally welcome first year students of BCA/Bsc(h) Data Anlaytics and Artificial Intelligence Batch 2022-2023 on 3 September, 2022. The programme commenced with saraswati vandana. The students were acquainted to the vision, growth and culture of IIS University by H.O.D Dr. Anubha Jain and Additional Head Dr. Ruchi Nanda. They also pointed out that the students should be equipped with multi-skills, right attitude, time management and must desire for learning and positive restlessness for self-improvement.They were also briefed about the various curricular and co-curricular activities and all the other facilities available in the department.
CS and IT department also organised an alumnae interaction program. Starting with BCA alumna Mrs suchita manak Bohra, who is currently director and founder at nucleus infotech solutions. She is also a corporate trainer and is handling managerial work for CDAC, Jaipur. She has also managed Indian Air Force Project for Rajasthan, Gujarat and Chandigarh, while being in direct touch with former president Ram Nath Govind. She shared some beautiful and enthusiastic moments of her college life. She also motivated students to take part in co-curricular activities and advised students to take classes regularly.
Next was the BMA alumna, Ms Anshika Jain who is currently working as Fx artist in Technicolor studios Bangalore. She also has actively participated in cultural programmes and presented Rajasthan’s cultural dance in front of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In her speech she emphasised more on regularity for completing projects, not to wait for any dead line and to make short notes for any task to be done.
Next BMA alumna was Navkriti Singhvi, who is currently pursuing graphic designing for further studies and is also working as a freelancer. She also got admission to Chelsea College of art and design, university of London. She shared some of her experiences about the college and briefed the students on building a good CV, going through admission related procedures.
The interaction was followed by some fun activities which included an ice breaking session and games by the II year BCA students. These activities included Tongue Twisters, Bollywood Quiz and a Stand-up comedy performance.
The program was concluded by a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Anubha Jain(Head) , and Dr. Ruchi Nanda(Additional Head), IIS(deemed to be University),Jaipur.
