Seminar on 'Industrial Orientation and Skill Empowerment' by Dr. Nalin N. Jani

The Department of Computer Science and IT on 3rd August 2019, organized a seminar on “Industrial Orientation and Skill Empowerment” lead by Dr. Nalin N. Jani, Director of S.K. Patel Institute of Management and Computer Science. 

In this interactive session the students were given a brief description of the following:

• Skill Building
• Technology Skill Set
• Emergence of IOT

Dr. Jani oriented students on skill building and motivated the students to have hands on experience with smart technology skill set and also provided them with industry relevant information on topic. He also acquainted students with emergence of IoT as one of the key levers in IT industry and its amalgamation in everyday life. Dr. Jani further motivated the students to not only focus on application development but to lay stress on product development. At the conclusion of the session the query round was held in which the students got an opportunity to put forward questions to sate their curiosity. The overall session was enlightening and the students got an exposure to IT industry. 80 students participated in the event. The session ended with thank you note by expressing gratitude to Dr. N.N. Jani for taking out time from his busy schedule and making the students aware of the industrial technology.
