The Department of Computer Science organized a Guest lecture on “Think Critical- Design and Implementation through Cognitive Thinking” on 09th April, 2019; the session was conducted by Prof (Dr) C. K. Kumbharana from Saurashtra University, Gujarat.

In this lecture the students were given a brief description of the following:

Ø  What is critical thinking?

Ø  What is out of box thinking?

Ø  How to develop programming skills?

Dr. Kumbharana explained the importance of following the thinking process of the human brain and accordingly develops logic in programming.

He emphasized on inculcating the practice of “out of box thinking” rather than depending on available frameworks for developing software. Dr. Kumbharana gave valuable insight to the students for developing effective and error free programmes. The students were highly benefited by his words of wisdom. The event ended with a vote of thanks to the eminent speaker.
