ICT Academy and AWS Academy (Amazon Web Services) jointly provided virtual training about “Strategies and Tools to Perform Large Scale Migrations” on 26th February 2021 through GoToWebinar platform. The webinar was about various tools and strategies planned to managed large scale data and services migration.The webinar was about to learn about AWS's strategy and best practices for performing large-scale migrations. Synthesized from AWS's experience of helping hundreds of enterprise customers move to the cloud, from this webinar it shownlearn proven techniques that make migrations successful and tools that will accelerate migration journey to the AWS Cloud.The objective of this webinar was to acquaint with practical about the migration process of various services and data from web server to cloud environment and to make the familiar with the tools used for migration of services. Using this webinar, they explored that AWS has developed a proven process, framework, tools, and playbooks to help users to migrate applications and workloads to the cloud. They also explored about fundamentals, concepts, and best practices for AWS Cloud migration tools and strategies. An introduction of digital training offerings, virtual classroom courses, videos, whitepapers, and other resources. framework for migrating applications to the cloud was defined as well. In this webinar they also provide the knowledge about the various AWS services and tools that will help simplify and accelerate the migration tasks. Start with instructor-led training course, then learn about tools such as CloudEndure to automatically convert our machines from their source infrastructure into the AWS infrastructure, and AWS Snowball to securely transfer petabytes of data to AWS data centers and how to migrate specific workloads to AWS, such as moving SAP workloads or Oracle database to Amazon RDS. The webinar was good with many knowledgeableaspects of large data migration and application associated with it.
