Summary
Department of CS & IT organized Hackthon on sustainability projects where, BCA students engaged in collaborative idea to develop innovative web based applications. The list of ideas consist of the range of topics focused on sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Students worked in pairs to conceptualize and design web applications addressing various facets of sustainability. Each project required a blend of technical proficiency and creative problem-solving skills. Topics spanned from carbon footprint calculation tools to platforms promoting sustainable tourism and plastic waste reduction campaigns.
Throughout the event, students demonstrated proficiency in web development technologies such as PHP, database management, and user interface design. They grappled with challenges related to data security, user experience, and backend functionality, showcasing their ability to tackle real-world problems in the digital sphere.
