Objective of the Event: Objective of this event is to make students aware of the latest Security techniques through which one can save oneself from cyber hacking.
In commemoration of Cyber Awareness Month, the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology orchestrated a visit to the esteemed Central Detective Training Institute in Jaipur. Attended by students from BCA SEM 3 and SEM 5, the initiative aimed to enhance the participants' understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Upon arrival, the students were ushered into a designated room where they engaged in a quiz featuring a spectrum of general cybersecurity inquiries. Following the culmination of the quiz competition, the attendees proceeded to the auditorium for the subsequent segment of the program.
Within the auditorium, a comprehensive video presentation elucidated the intricacies of phishing crimes, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of cyber threats. The formal commencement of the event transpired with the gracious arrival of the esteemed chief guest, Mr. Naveen Mahajan—an IAS officer and DR Amandeep Singh. The proceedings commenced with a warm introduction of the chief guest by the institute's director.
Subsequently, the event unfolded with the acknowledgment and commendation of the quiz competition winners, recognizing those who actively participated in the quiz conducted across various educational institutions. The faculty members present at the event were also duly acknowledged and honored for their valuable contributions.

This endeavor stands as a testament to the department's commitment to fostering cybersecurity awareness and preparedness among the future professionals in the field.
