The second, fourth and sixth semester students of the B.A. (Hons.) Multimedia and Animation program visited the Zee News Studio, Jaipur, as part of their industry interaction and experiential learning module.

The visit offered students firsthand exposure to a live news production environment. They were given a guided tour of the studio where they observed the live newsroom, broadcast control rooms, editing bays, and news anchor desk setup. The technical team explained how daily bulletins are prepared—from scripting and camera setup to live recording and telecast.

Students learned about the real-time coordination required between reporters, anchors, editors, and control room operators. They also witnessed how chroma keying, teleprompters, multi-camera setups, and audio-visual graphics are used during live news segments.

A special session was conducted on the integration of digital tools, including automated editing software, visual overlays, and the role of AI in news verification and video enhancement, which gave students a deeper understanding of modern newsroom technology.

The visit proved highly beneficial in exposing students to real-world broadcast journalism and expanding their awareness of technical and creative roles in news media production.
