Workshop on 2D Animation based on Adobe Flash

The Department of CS & IT organized a month long workshop on 2D Animation based on Adobe Flash. The workshop started from September 28- 28 October, 2015. During the workshop the students got knowledge about Basic concepts of 2D Animation and hands-on working of Adobe Flash. The workshop was received with full enthusiasm and students enjoyed the learning experience. The week wise schedule was as follows-

I WEEK

Introduction-What is 2D Animation? What is Flash used for? Basic concepts of working on it.

What all can be done from using it? Vector Software. Difference between Vector & Bitmap.

Introduction to Adobe Flash- Workspace, Timeline, Layers, Tools, Palettes, Short- Cuts, etc. Working with timeline and layers. How to manage timeline- inserting keyframe, frame, blank keyframe.

Motion Tweening & Shape Tweening.

Simple exercises based on motion and shape tweening- Basic Shapes, Text, etc.

Il WEEK

Introduction to symbols- graphic, movie clip, buttons. Working with graphics and filters.

Motion tween using filters- fade in/ fade out, changing colours, etc. Small exercises based on the concepts mentioned above.

Ill WEEK

Working on small motion tween clips.

IV WEEK

Doing Frame- By- Frame Animation. Guide Layer. Layer Mask. Creating and working on multiple scenes.

V WEEK

Working with sounds. How to insert sound on the timeline. How to work with it on the workspace. Small project
