Objective of the workshop/seminar/activity: to impart practical and professional knowledge to the students about the usage of concept art.


Description:

 

The department of CS & IT organized a workshop on the concept art on 19th Jan 2019for II, IV and VI semester of BMA. The guest was Mr. Vipin Sharma, Sketching Faculty, Arena Multimedia, New Delhi.

Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in film, video games, animation, Comic books, or other media before it is put in the final product. Concept art usually refers to the world – building artwork used to inspire the development of media products.

In this interactive session the students were given a brief description of the following:

Ø  Meaning of concept art

Ø  Use and description of different paper materials

Ø  How to think out of the box

Ø  Tools & techniques of using water colours.

It was a great opportunity for the students to attend this workshop which enlightened the students with the knowledge of concept art and watercolor painting. Mr. Vipin also briefed students about different types of paintings and their color schemes and different types of colour tints.

At the end of the session the query round was held in which the students got an opportunity to put forward their questions.

The session was very helpful in providing practical and professional knowledge to the students about the concept art.
